Redemption, Part 2

Only God is Righteous. God's Love and Mercy is infinite. It is our good fortune that our eternal destiny is a gift of God. If our eternal destiny was determined by us and our righteousness none of us would make it to Heaven. Fortunately for us God is in complete control. Every child of God, every person that God desires to be in Heaven, will be there.

Ecclesiastes 3:14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

Isaiah 46:9-10 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Many people do not like this doctrine of eternal Heaven by predestination. They say it is not fair. They seem to believe predestination will reward the most evil people with a trip to Heaven and send to Hell those who do good things and try to help others; but predestination only claims that God determines who will go to Heaven. To say that predestination will result in an unjust judgment is to say that God is an unjust judge. God is just, and His judgment is perfect. God does not need to witness a person perform repentance or any other ritual. God does not need to witness a person do good things since God sees our thoughts and emotions. God even knows how many hairs are on the head of each one of His children.

Luke 12:6-7 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Those of us who have hair do not know how many hairs are on our own head. This means God knows more about us than we know about ourselves. God knows our mind, heart, and every fiber of our being.

Proverbs 21:2-3 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts. To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

God knows who the good people are even if they did live a difficult life and became hard hearted. God knows who the good people are because He made them that way. If someone has love in their heart, it was put there by God because God is the source of all love. Those who love no one but themselves, they are the ones who will be destroyed. Do not use as an argument against predestination that God is unjust and cannot be trusted to pass judgment; there is none good but God.

Romans 6:14-17 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Grace is free to those who are the children of God. In our weak nature there is nothing we can do to earn eternal life. Our spirits will be given eternal life by the Grace of Christ, and will not be destroyed by the Law. This is what Paul meant by saying "Ye are not under the law, but under grace." This is why Paul asked the question "shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace?" That is a good question. Since we are going to Heaven anyway, shall we sin?

People will criticize predestination by saying "If I am going to Heaven anyway, I can commit murder or rape or anything I want to." Problem is, if you really have such a callous desire to kill people then you probably are not a child of God and you will be destroyed in Hell. None of God's children are perfect, under the wrong circumstances they have committed great sins up to and including murder. Those who are children of God do not always do the right thing, but they understand what is the right thing; they have a desire to do the right thing, and they will be most certainly punished when they do not do the right thing. Just because the punishment is less than eternal torment does not mean that we should not be concerned about it.

The murder victim is safe in the hands of God. Only the surviving loved ones have the heartache and the normally impossible task of forgiveness. The victim may have suffered at the hands of the killer, but the killer will most certainly suffer at the hands of God. It is the killer who is the victim, as Paul said "Whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness." Do not entertain the idea of committing a sin planning in advance to repent of it and be forgiven. God knows our plans and intentions. The children of God will not escape suffering for their offenses.

A child of God may live a selfish life and still go to the eternal Heaven, but it is his loss. Besides suffering for our sins the greatest joy in life is charity and to commune with God, and when we sin we forfeit this joy and experience heartache instead. With love there is peace; with hatred there is tightness of heart and misery.

Works of the "free will" determine our eternal destiny, but by our works we are all condemned. The flesh is judged by works on the Day of Judgment and is condemned. The separated spirit is also judged by works on the Day of Judgment and is found worthy of eternal life. Eternal judgment is still based on works of the free will; but we have eternal life by the Grace of Christ, by the less than perfect flesh being separated from the perfect spirit.

Revelation 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

God predetermined who would be born with His Spirit and who would be born without it. We must be born with love in our heart in order for us to perform acts of righteousness worthy of joy in this life and resurrection to eternal life. We need the Grace of Christ for our works to be found acceptable and for us to have eternal life. Grace provides eternal life only to those who were predestined by God to be born possessing the spirit. Only those who were born with the spirit have something inside themselves that has performed works worthy of eternal life once it is separated from the flesh.

This is the greatness of God that He can give everyone their own "free will", judge everyone according to their works; and He can still resurrect to eternal life everyone He chooses to resurrect. This is possible because He put a spirit of perfect love in each of His children. If you consider the love in your heart and consider all the things you have done when you have listened to that love then you know the spirit within you is perfect.

Grace and the Law are not opposing doctrines. We are still under the Law, but by the Grace of Christ we live up to the Law. We are judged by the works of our free will, yet God predetermined who would be born with a spirit capable of performing works worthy of eternal life. It is the works of our spirit that are found acceptable on the Day of Judgment, yet while we are in the flesh we are condemned by our works.

Luke 6:43-45 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

If a person does not have a perfect and sinless spirit of love in their heart they have nothing in themselves worthy of eternal life to separate from their flesh. We are not to judge; but if Adolph Hitler was lacking the spirit, if Hitler was a "dead alien" sinner and not a child of God, then he committed great evil because of the void in his heart just as some plants naturally produce nothing but thorns.

Mother Teresa also did what came naturally to her just as some plants produce fruit. It is true that the children of God produce both thorns and fruit, but that spirit in the heart of a child of God produces only fruit. By this fruit, by loving others and by loving God, a person can have faith he is a child of God. A person can have "hope" he will live with God in Heaven.

God put His Spirit of Love in the hearts of some, but others are born without it. Is it fair to create some people who have no chance of eternal life? It can not be said that God created the "dead alien" sinner for destruction since God did not even create the "dead alien" sinner.

Romans 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

Flesh is born of flesh. When a man and woman bring a child into the world, that child is born of the flesh of the parents in accordance with the natural forces of creation. Flesh is clay. Just as a potter takes an existing lump of clay to make a "vessel unto honour" God puts His Spirit of Love into some of the flesh that is born into this world. Our flesh did not come from God; and by giving some of us the spirit, God has no obligation to give it to everyone. It is the Spirit that comes from God. The spirit was created by God; and not only does it have the chance of eternal life, it has the promise of eternal life.

Even the flesh, the original flesh created by God in the Garden of Eden was without sin and worthy of life. This was before the influence of Satan. The flesh of Adam and Eve was controlled by the spirits of Adam and Eve, and not influenced by Satan, so that Adam and Eve in their entirety were loving and compassionate and without sin. Since the fall of humanity, flesh is born by sin and cannot therefore be the work of God. The spirit is from God, and just as the flesh was also perfect in the Garden of Eden, what God creates is good and without sin.

The dead alien sinners did not come from God, but they are judged fairly by God. All are judged fairly based on their own judgment of others. Everyone does indeed have a chance for eternal life. Everyone including Satan has a chance to live up to the same standard they expect of others and deserve eternal life, and those who are the children of God have absolutely done so. The spirit in the heart of the child of God is forgiving of others and without sin; it deserves unlimited reward in complete and absolute fairness. The seed or spirit within the child of God, "Cannot sin, because he is born of God."

1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Not only Christ, but everyone who is born of God does not commit sin. It is true that the weakness of love has overcome the strength of evil. Creation has proven that the true measure of greatness is love. Every little child of God, the spirit inside every little child of God has overcome the great dark angel Satan. We are perfect. We only need the precious Grace of a loving Christ to separate us from our less than perfect flesh. Our spirit and our flesh are both judged fairly.

All are fairly punished for their sins, rewarded for their righteousness; and all those who have unlimited righteousness are given unlimited reward. All who forgive are forgiven, and everyone is judged by their own words. God is completely just and totally fair and everything that comes from God is without sin and worthy of life. Most people have a portion of love and compassion in their hearts. God will not let any love die; all those who have unselfish love will have eternal life. This includes most of the people who have walked the Earth.

The world does contain some dead alien sinners who, like Satan, have no concern for anyone but themselves. They were born of the flesh, but were never born of the Spirit. Their destruction in the lake of fire is merciful because the egocentric will always become miserable. Even we, if we were resurrected to eternal Heaven with our current imperfect nature we would eventually become miserable. Heaven would be like Earth and it would eventually become hell.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

A child of God may suppress compassion until it is dormant, but if a person's heart is totally void of love it must be true that love simply is not there, and it never will be. Love does not grow from the mud; it cannot exist from nonexistence. Love never dies; God is Love and all perfect love comes from God. No ceremony, no ritual, no sacrifice, no preaching can create love in the dead alien sinner.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

If someone has their first spiritual experience, if they "find" Jesus and feel the Holy Spirit for the first time, they are finding something not creating it. Love had to exist in the heart beforehand in order for it to be found. Love cannot come from anyone or anything but God. A person must be born of God meaning they must be born with love in their heart in order for them to have a spiritual experience. The dead alien sinner is not capable of "finding" Jesus; the dead alien sinner is not capable of true repentance.
Romans 8:7-8 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Paul said that the carnal mind is not subject to the Law of God.

There can be no reward for the righteousness of the flesh because the flesh is not capable of righteousness. Dead alien sinners love only themselves; they have no spirit, and they are not capable of true charity or true prayer. As is the case with the evil heart of Satan, God will not look in the evil heart of the dead alien sinners. Dead alien sinners will be held accountable for their acts of sin on the Day of Judgment, but they are not held accountable for the hostility in their evil hearts which is not seen by God, and they do not feel guilt or shame for their sins while they are in this life.

Hebrews 12:6-8 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

It is a good thing to feel guilt and to suffer the punishment of hell in this world. The wonderful thing about chastisement and suffering in this lifetime is that it tends to indicate a person is a child of God.

The dead alien sinners do not suffer in this life for their sins, but they are miserable because of their nature. The dead alien sinners can never be truly happy. They feel no joy in helping a stranger in need, and they feel no joy in prayer. The dead alien sinners do not even know what it means to feel joy or true happiness. Creation has shown that love is the true measure of greatness, and love is essential for life to be worthwhile. The worst thing that God could do to the dead alien sinners is give them eternal life.
