The Revelation
3. When Satan realizes that he has been caught in a sin, there will be a battle or a debate between Satan and the archangel Michael. This conflict will result in an angry Satan being cast from Heaven. Knowing that he is already condemned, Satan will be greatly angered and this results in Armageddon.
Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
A secret has been kept from Satan, but is now being revealed. Satan does not know, nor has he considered, that Jesus came from God and will again be one with God. The Devil sees Christ as human, and the Christians came to believe that Christ is a co-God or part of the "Trinity" an idea which Satan knows to be false since there is only one God. The devil believes that Christ is condemned based on the letter of the Law since Satan cannot grasp the spirit of the Law, which Christ did not violate. Once the devil realizes that Christ is indeed perfect under the Law (a living witness) and that Christ came from God and will fully return to God (a second witness) then the devil will know that he is doomed.
Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
When Satan is cast out of
Heaven he knows that he has but a short time meaning he now knows that he is
doomed. Satan could not have known of his pending doom before that time. If
Satan had previously known that he was doomed he would have previously had great
wrath, and there would have previously been conflict in Heaven. Once Satan knows
that he is doomed there will be conflict in Heaven. Christ has not yet fully
returned to (being one with) God which means Satan is not yet condemned under the Law, but
because of the conflict he will be cast out of Heaven into the Earth.
Knowing that he is already doomed Satan will openly violate the Law of God after
he is cast out into the Earth. At that point the devil will have nothing to
lose. This is what Armageddon is all about; Armageddon is the last throes of a
great evil spirit that now knows it is to be destroyed.
Revelation calls God: Him that "was, is, and is to come". Revelation
calls Christ: "Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and
the end" Why do the descriptions of Christ always leave off the middle?
This is because the middle is different. Christ is not the same during the
middle as He was at the beginning or He will be in the end. In the end Christ
will be as He was at the beginning. Jesus the Christ is not a god; Jesus is THE
God of Heaven. The Spirit within Jesus is a small piece of the essence of God, and Jesus
will go back to God and be one with God.
Psalms 21:8 Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
Revelation 12:7-8 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
